Thanksgiving Bake 2020


Orders for the Thanksgiving bake for both Tuesday and Wednesday delivery have now been filled. Thank you!


Please note there will not be a Friday bake next week 27th Nov or a Tuesday bake on Dec 1. The next regular bake day will be Friday Dec 4.

- Pumpkin Centerpiece Loaf ($15)

This is a pumpkin sourdough loaf made using pureed kabocha pumpkin, wheat (white and fresh milled) and fresh milled rye. It is shaped and decorated into a eye catching festive pumpkin complete with a cinnamon stick stalk. I am only able to 12 of these loaves per day as they require resting overnight in a round proofing basket of which I only have 12 (I genereally make oval loaves for all other breads). For this reason I am asking that these are limited to one per order so that they can reach more customers. If you would like more than one please leave a note and should I have any availability after orders close I will let you know.

Please note this loaf contains a small amount of honey.


- Butternut Squash, Cherry & Cranberry Loaf ($10)

Slow roasted butternut squash are pureed and incorporated into a sourdough made from wheat (white & freshly milled whole) and freshly milled whole-rye and whole-spelt. It is studded with tart Montmorency cherries and cranberries and the specks of red against the golden yellow crumb resemble of colors of fall. This loaf contains a small amount of honey which together with the natural sugars in the squash give this loaf a subtle sweetness.


- Mini Pumpkin Patch Chocolate Buns (Vegan) ($7 for 2)

These adorable mini pumpkin buns are are made with kabocha squash and homemade vegan butter, and filled with bittersweet Cacao Barry chocolate. They are made using sourdough fermentation (no fast acting yeast) in a process that takes over 24 hours. These will come in a bakery box of 2, 4 or 6 (please order in multiples of 2). If you would like them in separate boxes (in multiples of 2) please leave me a note.

Thanksgiving Bake 2020

  • The process of making sourdough starts 2 to 3 days before the bread is baked, so late cancellations cannot be accepted. Cancellation notices must be submitted by email at least 3 days in advance. 

  • Delivery will be between 3-5:30pm on your specified day of delivery. The delivery fee is $2.50.

    Please double check your address falls within my delivery zones (see map here). Any orders placed for delivery out of my delivery zones without a note will be cancelled and refunded. Please include any specific delivery instructions in a note on your order.
