How to purchase

 

Pre-order

  • Due to the COVID19 situation I am currently only accepting orders via pre-order for delivery (no pick ups). Click through to product page to see my available pre-order dates. Orders must be placed via my order page, I cannot accept orders via email.

  • Delivery is required and is only available if you live within the delivery area.

  • Current bake days are every other Tuesday and every Friday. The next available Tuesday bake will be listed below. Orders for Friday delivery open weekly at 3pm on the Wednesday (2 days before Friday). Please try to order early as orders are currently filling up very quickly.

  • Cancellation notices must be submitted at least 2 days in advance.

  • Please subscribe to my mailing list for up to date information on bake days and loaf varieties.

Farmers Market

UPDATE: Due to the COVID19 situation the Friday Farmer's Market is cancelled until further notice. You can still order bread for delivery above!

A wide range of loaves are available weekly at the Hermosa Beach Farmer's Market (map) every Friday from 12-4pm. Bread often sells out before market closing so to avoid disappointment please try to stop by before 2pm. 

Below is a list of products that are available every week. In addition there will be a number of variety loaves, typically made using a wide range of grains (flours, whole-grains, rolled-grains or sprouted grains), add-ins such as nuts, seeds and dried fruits, and/or seasonal ingredients including vegetables. 

Bread offered every week:

  • Country Loaves

    • The country loaf is a classic sourdough loaf made with a combination of freshly stone-ground whole-wheat, whole-spelt, whole-rye and white wheat flour. The loaves are baked in a stone-lined oven and have a deep rustic crust and a soft creamy crumb.  ​

  • Seeded Rye

    • A sourdough loaf made with 50% freshly milled whole-rye and 50% white wheat. Contains anise, fennel and caraway seeds, orange zest, and some molasses for a rich depth of flavor. Similar to a Swedish style rye bread.

  • Ancient Grain Baguettes​

    • These demi-baguettes (short baguette) are made from wheat flour and freshly milled Einkorn, a wonderful ancient grain that is easier to digest than modern wheat. It is slowly fermented using a sourdough culture (no commercial yeast) and has a crispy golden crust and a soft and chewy interior.​

  • Olive & Preserved Lemon Fougasse​

    • A naturally fermented French flat bread made with wheat and freshly milled spelt, full of Castelvetrano olives, preserved lemons and Herbs de ​Provence, and covered in black and white sesame seeds. Cut into the shape of an ear of wheat, these flat-breads are ideal for tearing and dipping in olive oil.
